Just a few weeks ago I had the thermostat changed, the blend doors where checked, and the flush would be the last avenue in this no heat issue. I have no one who can help with the heater core flush, is there any shops that you folks would know about in the Va Beach area. A 2011 Dodge Nitro equipped with a 3.7L engine is going to have it's thermostat located under the hood of the vehicle. You're going to need to go ahead and reach in and pull on the hood release lever then head outside and prop up the hood. Once You have the hood lifted up go ahead and look towards the radiator. 9 times out of 10 on this old of vehicle its the heater core. If your car temp gauge is working and the car is heating up fine and the blower works then it is most likely your heater core. Not sure how hard it is on that car. SOme times it just under the dash takes about 30 mins but some cars you have to pull the dash out.
