Which is why Springfield’s 911 EMP 4 Concealed Carry Contour 9MM (yes, that’s quite a mouthful) such an attractive package. Given that long moniker, we’ll just refer to it here as the EMP4.

I handled a 3" emp ronin along with a blued garrison. Id want the 4" ronin emp but I liked it. Does feel slightly weird in hand on bottom of MSH. I do prefer the way a full size 1911 feels though. Priced fair here too. 750 for the 3" ronin and 800-850 for the garrison depending in finish. Went a second time to the range and another 200 rds of 115 FMJ sent down range without a bobble. The 10mm 1911 is like a 454 Chevelle by comparison. However, the Springfield EMP is not an average 1911 9mm. The 9mm is as heavy, long and tall as the .45 ACP 1911. The 1911 was originally designed for the .900-inch long .45 ACP.
