Jan 26, 2019 · So far I can say with confidence the otter XTH Cabin is the best investment I’ve made in ice fishing besides maybe my ice armor suit. Will see how it holds up in a few months or years. I’ve set it up and taken it down 3 times on the ice and I’ve noticed it seemed to go faster and easier to pop the walls out first than the roof. Again, a few other comparable shacks have this. Last one is not so much a con, and could be a pro. The Otter is pretty heavy. It's not as heavy as some, but heavier than other thermal shacks. I'd give the Otter Lodge Hub 4 1/2 stars. The cons were very minor, and the pros easily outweigh them.
